The IRS has hired 80,000 new agents. 

Many of these new agents are working collection cases. The new agents are untrained and unsupervised. They do not know or even care about the tax law. They are very good at sending out tax due notices, specifically the dreaded CP504. You may get one of these even if you do not owe any money at all. You may be in an installment agreement and the CP504 suddenly demands full payment. You may be appealing an assessment and while the appeal is being considered they send you a CP504 demanding full payment. The IRS is very slow considering appeals yet very quick to send out the CP504. However you may owe the money so don’t throw the CP 504 away. You need to bring it into a competent Tax Resolution firm and let them handle it.

The Transit Delay

Yet another method the IRS is using now is what we call the Transcript Delay. The IRS knows that a competent Tax Resolution firm can skillfully examine your account transcripts to arrive at a solution to help you. The IRS does not want you to receive any help. The current method is to deny the delivery of the IRS transcripts. The IRS says their systems are down or their fax machine does not work The IRS also says the power of attorney is not legible however we are looking at a perfectly clear power of attorney we just faxed to them.

There are ways to use outside services to get the IRS transcripts. The IRS transcripts are crucial to a case solution. So don’t try to call them yourself! You will get nowhere very fast!  All they will do is to put you in a solution which you can’t afford and levy your bank account when you fail to make the payments! They love to levy bank accounts!If you owe the IRS money, call a competent Tax Resolution firm! They can get your transcripts and get a solution you can live with!
